I consider myself a luxury lifestyle entrepreneur. A budding Luddington lifestyle pursuant, but definitely an entrepreneur by all standards.
I have been an education entrepreneur for the past 15 years, with 12 of those years structured on Montessori and early years education.
As an education and lifestyle (services curated for families), I have covered a wide scope of services.
At a young age 23 years, I singlehandedly founded MCG (Montessori Center Ghana) and effortlessly carved a niche for this professional development college through my acute sense for excellence, perfectionism, and organisation.
However, the greater part of success has been a long road home. There were successes in the every day occurrences. Small wins on a daily which was derived from the benchmark qualities which the college/ business was synonymous with - training founded and delivered on authentic Montessori practices and integrity based, highly trained facilitators, live model environments, following purist Montessori classroom methodology, and streamlined academic learning model that demands students put in the work and earn their qualifications.
I am very much client obsessed- a client-centric business owner and I put our clients at the center of consideration of how I designed, developed, and structured the business to run.
Talking about people, I believe in grooming, upscaling, and empowering people to become pedigree in their capacity. And this is the mindset with which I built my team for the college.
Over the years I expanded our portfolio (there were many trial and error periods), by experimenting services that was curated for lifestyle of families with young children so we remained withour core niche of working within the early years, from nanny services, to parenting support to coaching to consulting and setting up nurseries and condusive enabling environments for childcare and learning.
Slowly we evolved while mastering the craft and today MCG stands tall as a household name in Ghana, and within the international community as we have morphed into a virtual campus serving the rest of Africa and the world.
I am currently the 2022 International Winner of the Montessori Global Award for Outstanding Contribution to Montessori in Practice.
With my background in Montessori, Developmental Psychology & Early Childhood Studies, combined with International Business Communication and Administration, I have been working as a Montessori early years trainer, consultant, and coach, first for the Early Years Company which I founded to host a division of training & lifestyle services that included, Montessori Centre Ghana, Montessori Parent Services, Early Years Industry Services, Elite Nanny Services, Shop Early Years Online. I combined technical roles with a professional culture of client experience focus, and people building. I run the company as executive director across roles of administrative manager, marketing & sales, business development, client experience and relationship management.
10 years as CEO taught me to refine process, and streamline. I went on further to design snd create our virtual campus learning program, that is currently an extension brand known as MCGOnline, of the absolved Early Years Company which is now fully operated as Montessori Center Ghana (MCG).
My skillset from experience and expertise runs across entrepreneurship, business strategy, business development, client experience, online marketing, business scaling & streamlining, and administrative functions design. I am also skilled in tech supported business and education management, training development, online course design and development, and people orientation. I am able coach small businesses and business owners to design, develop, implement, establish and refine business, models, services, strategy, processes, and solid brand image.
I easily harness my capacity for public speaking and communication, child development, care and education consultancy and training, parent coaching, and niche nursery school business consultancy, coaching and design, provisioning and setup. I am quite the creative and an aesthetic curator who likes to design and create interior and outdoor spaces for living, children, nursery and play, digital documents, as well as collect and curate lifestyle products, services, gifting, brand packaging, etc.
I like refining, pruning, simplifying and improving with an eye for aesthetic order and details.
I possess a sharp eye and keen nose for detail, which I use to find and identify flaws and areas that need improvement, identify talent and develop solutions. My super power is one, I work well under pressure, alone, and can produce high-quality work in short periods of time. Two, I have excellent interpersonal skills and work with a wide variety of people, three, I easily build up people and can empower anyone to tale on a task or role.
